陶哲轩带头宣战！人类数学家联合抵制OpenAI
AI InsightThe collective boycott of OpenAI-generated mathematical proofs led by Terence Tao signifies that generative AI's advance into fundamental science has escalated from a debate over assistive tools to a contest over academic definition and norms, fundamentally reshaping knowledge production.Key TakeawayThe mathematical community is shifting from collaborating with AI to establishing defenses against brute-force computational disruptions of academic norms. Why It MattersThis marks a transition from AI enablement to direct conflict over norms. The influx of unverified AI-generated proofs risks overwhelming expert review and fundamentally altering the evolution of mathematical knowledge.Who's Affected- At RiskOpenAIFaces credibility challenges and academic pushback from elite mathematicians, slowing its expansion in fundamental science.
