Lab-in-the-Loop at Compute Speed — Ian Quigley, Leash Bio
AI InsightLeash Bio generates data by optimizing complex DNA-encoded library (DEL) assays to detect and correct predictive biases in large language models. This indicates that AI drug discovery is attempting to constrain models with empirical feedback to improve reliability in chemical prediction.Key TakeawayUtilizing specific DEL assay data to supervise model predictions, shifting AI drug discovery from pure computational prediction to empirical data constraints. Why It MattersLacking specific experimental details, AI models in drug discovery often face biases or hallucinations. Integrating empirical feedback from DEL data helps correct predictive deviations and provides realistic validation standards for AI agents simulating chemist reasoning.Who's Affected- BeneficiaryLeash BioEstablishes a unique empirical data application path by optimizing DEL assays and catching model biases.
